Hurricane Damage Repair in Miami, FL

Miami is in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, so every storm repair has to meet the toughest wind code in Florida. We rebuild storm-damaged homes, condos and commercial spaces to that standard.

Properties inside city limits are permitted by the City of Miami Building Department; unincorporated Miami-Dade goes through the county's Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources. Miami Beach, Coral Gables and other municipalities have their own building departments.
Flood and wind zones
All of Miami-Dade is in the HVHZ. Brickell, Coconut Grove and other bayfront areas are in FEMA flood zones, and Atlantic beachfront work falls under the Coastal Construction Control Line program.
Local construction
High-rise condominiums, concrete block homes with barrel-tile roofs, and older frame homes in historic neighborhoods.

Mobilization

How It Works

South Florida is reached across Alligator Alley from our Naples base. Site-visit timing is confirmed after the initial consultation, and materials are specified with the required HVHZ approvals from the start.

  1. 01

    Request an assessment

Submit the assessment form or call 239-944-0527 with the property address, the damaged areas, and photos if you have them.

  2. 02

    Review and site visit

We review the damage with you by phone, then schedule an on-site visit. Timing depends on access to the area and the volume of requests after a storm, and is confirmed after the initial consultation.

  3. 03

    Written scope and permits

You receive a written, itemized scope. We pull the repair permits from the local building department that has jurisdiction over the property.

  4. 04

    Crew mobilization and rebuild

Our crew and licensed trade partners mobilize to the property for roof, drywall, insulation, flooring, kitchen, bath and whole-interior reconstruction through final inspection.

Titan Builder and Renovation LLC holds state-certified Florida licenses — CGC1541818 (General), CCC1337764 (Roofing) and CRC1336002 (Residential) — which are valid in every Florida county.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Miami-Dade NOA?+

A Notice of Acceptance is Miami-Dade's product approval for HVHZ use. Roofing, windows, doors and shutters installed in the county need an NOA or a Florida Product Approval for HVHZ.

Do you rebuild high-rise condo units in Miami?+

Yes. We rebuild unit interiors and coordinate with the association and building management on access and the certificates the building requires.

Does the condo milestone inspection affect repairs?+

Condo buildings three stories or taller must complete Florida's milestone structural inspections. Unit interior repairs are separate, but we coordinate with any building-wide work.

Is Miami Beach permitted by the City of Miami?+

No. Miami Beach has its own building department. We confirm jurisdiction for every address.

Do you replace barrel-tile roofs?+

Yes, with HVHZ-approved products under our roofing license CCC1337764.
