Building Code Notes

Repair permits
Properties inside city limits are permitted by the City of Panama City Building Services; unincorporated Bay County goes through Bay County Builders Services. Panama City Beach is a separate city with its own building department.
Flood and wind zones
Bayfront areas on St. Andrew Bay are in FEMA flood zones. Homes built before the 2007 removal of the Panhandle wind-borne debris exemption often have unprotected openings.
Local construction
A mix of homes rebuilt to current code after Michael, older frame and block homes that were repaired, and commercial buildings downtown and along US-98.

Mobilization

How It Works

The Panhandle is a long-distance mobilization from our Naples base. Availability and site-visit timing are confirmed after the initial consultation.

  1. 01

    Request an assessment

Submit the assessment form or call 239-944-0527 with the property address, the damaged areas, and photos if you have them.

  2. 02

    Review and site visit

We review the damage with you by phone, then schedule an on-site visit. Timing depends on access to the area and the volume of requests after a storm, and is confirmed after the initial consultation.

  3. 03

    Written scope and permits

You receive a written, itemized scope. We pull the repair permits from the local building department that has jurisdiction over the property.

  4. 04

    Crew mobilization and rebuild

Our crew and licensed trade partners mobilize to the property for roof, drywall, insulation, flooring, kitchen, bath and whole-interior reconstruction through final inspection.

Titan Builder and Renovation LLC holds state-certified Florida licenses — CGC1541818 (General), CCC1337764 (Roofing) and CRC1336002 (Residential) — which are valid in every Florida county.
