Building Code Notes

Repair permits
Properties inside city limits are permitted by the City of Orlando Permitting Services; unincorporated Orange County properties go through the Orange County Division of Building Safety.
Flood and wind zones
Most of Orlando is outside the coastal wind-borne debris region, but homes near lakes and creeks can be in mapped floodplains, as Ian's flooding showed.
Local construction
Concrete block and frame homes with shingle roofs, heavy tree canopy in older neighborhoods, and commercial and hospitality buildings.

Mobilization

How It Works

Central Florida projects are scheduled after an initial consultation; we plan crew mobilization from our Naples base around the scope and timeline.

  1. 01

    Request an assessment

Submit the assessment form or call 239-944-0527 with the property address, the damaged areas, and photos if you have them.

  2. 02

    Review and site visit

We review the damage with you by phone, then schedule an on-site visit. Timing depends on access to the area and the volume of requests after a storm, and is confirmed after the initial consultation.

  3. 03

    Written scope and permits

You receive a written, itemized scope. We pull the repair permits from the local building department that has jurisdiction over the property.

  4. 04

    Crew mobilization and rebuild

Our crew and licensed trade partners mobilize to the property for roof, drywall, insulation, flooring, kitchen, bath and whole-interior reconstruction through final inspection.

Titan Builder and Renovation LLC holds state-certified Florida licenses — CGC1541818 (General), CCC1337764 (Roofing) and CRC1336002 (Residential) — which are valid in every Florida county.
