Tile Installation in Southwest Florida

Professional and luxury tile installation across Southwest Florida — porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, and large format panels set over properly prepared substrates with the waterproofing, crack isolation membranes, and movement joints the assembly actually requires.

We install floor tile, wall tile, kitchen backsplash, and full wet-room shower assemblies. Every installation follows TCNA methods with thin-set mortar and tile underlayment selected for the specific material and location, and every wet area is built as a waterproofing system rather than a decorated surface.

Tile installation questions

Do you install large format tile and thin porcelain panels?
Yes. Large format tile requires a flatter substrate than standard tile, so we self-level the slab where needed, use a medium-bed mortar with full back-buttering, and set with a leveling system to control lippage. Thin porcelain panels are handled with the manufacturer-specified handling frames and suction tools.
How do you waterproof a tiled shower?
Wet areas are built as a system, not a surface: sloped mortar bed or pre-formed pan, bonded sheet or liquid-applied waterproofing membrane, sealed corners and penetrations, and a flood test before any tile goes on. That test is what separates a shower that lasts from one that leaks into the adjacent room in year three.
Can you tile a lanai or pool deck?
Yes, with exterior-rated porcelain in a textured, slip-resistant finish, set over a crack isolation membrane with correctly placed movement joints and a drainage-aware pitch. Exterior tile in Southwest Florida moves with heat, so movement joints are not optional.
Do you match interior tile to outdoor living areas?
Frequently. Most Naples and Marco Island clients carry the same tile from the interior out to the lanai in a textured version of the same product. It requires coordinated slab prep on both sides of the threshold and a planned transition detail.
What does tile installation cost in Southwest Florida?
Pricing depends on material, tile size, layout complexity, substrate condition, and whether waterproofing is involved. We price each project after seeing the space, and the written estimate breaks out prep, setting materials, labor, and trim so nothing appears later as a surprise.
